Tailored to
fit your group's profile, our programs range from in-depth wine
related educational experiences to a "focus on fun" Wine
Country style:
"Grow Your Own" Grafting Seminar
Ever dreamed of owning your own estate Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard?
In the months after harvest, visitors to St. Supéry can join
a seminar called Grow Your Own, during which they learn how to graft
and grow their own vines. During the Grow Your Own seminar, a St.
Supéry viticulturist leads a discussion in the vineyard about
grape-growing, including rootstock and clone selection, grafting,
trellising and vine cultivation. Visitors then learn how to graft
the Cabernet plant to the rootstock, creating a vine of their own
to take home. Grafting graduates are rewarded with a relaxing lunch
by the winery chef on the veranda of St. Supéry’s historic
Atkinson House, paired with wines, of course. St. Supéry’s
Grow Your Own seminar makes learning about and participating in
the viticulture process good fun. The seminar price is $75 per
person. $750.00 minimum. Reservations are required. Available in
Winter and Spring. You can also arrange a private grafting seminar
for your group.
Cabernet Blending Seminar
A tutored tasting of Cabernet Sauvignon components (Bordeaux varieties
such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot)
with one of St. Supéry’s wine educators, in the historic
Atkinson House. Learn about the virtues of classic Bordeaux grape
varieties and what they contribute to a Meritage blend. Each participant
may experiment and create his or her own blend to taste. Available
for groups of 5-10 people. Cost $75 per person. $750.00 minimum.
Reservations required. Available year round.
Harvest Adventure
Wine lovers and weekend adventurers alike can be a part of the excitement
of harvest at St. Supéry. Usually only available to a privileged
few, this rare opportunity invites visitors into the vineyard to

picking, a behind-the-scenes tour of the winemaking facility, a
blending seminar with a St. Supéry educator, a gourmet lunch
prepared by winery chef Ron Barber, and an opportunity to learn
from winemaker Michael Beaulac. Reservations are required. Harvest

2004. This adventure is also available upon special request during
Autumn months of for groups of 10 or more people. Available in August
