Pétanque in the Parc

Boules games like Pétanque have been around for centuries. Pétanque is thought to have been invented by Jules Noir and Ernest Pitiot around 1910 in the south of France. It is a very simple game, similar to Italian Bocce ball, that can be played almost anywhere with very little equipment. Although the rules are simple, it does require practice to become skilled at it. More people play Pétanque than any other game of its type in the world.

If you would like to learn how to play Pétanque, while tasting our wines and enjoying delicious hors d’oeuvres, please join us in the St. Supéry “Parc”, located in the front of the visitors center.
