December
With rain falling and more to come, St. Supéry's vineyard
crew is busy with efforts to control erosion on the hillsides at
Dollarhide. We lay straw and seed on vineyard roads and terraces
to stabilize the soil, and often cover potential slide areas with
plastic tarp. All of the vineyard equipment gets its winter service
this month in preparation for springtime activity. The vines are
all at rest for now, until pruning begins again in January.
Thank you for spending a year with us - if you ever have questions
