Private Winery Tour and Tasting
Private tours of the winery followed by a guided wine tasting are available. Guests get a personal view of our Rutherford property including the demonstration vineyard, historic Atkinson House and the winery and gallery. Cost is $25 per person for groups of 8 or more. Reservations are required.
Barrel Tasting
“Behind the scenes” tour of the cellar from the ground level, exploring the winemaking process from crush to bottle. The tour culminates in a barrel tasting of 2003 vintage Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from St Supéry’s estate vineyards. Guests receive a tasting pass for the Limited and Club Wines Tasting to use afterward in the tasting room. Tour is limited to 12 people. Cost is $25 per person.
Food & Wine Dynamics
Join St. Supéry chef Ron Barber for an interactive seminar exploring the relationship between food and wine. Learn the “secrets” of successful food / wine pairing and discover how you can fine tune recipes to compliment the wine of your choice. This seminar goes beyond theory and allows you to actually experience how different food flavors affect the way you perceive wine. Limited to groups of 8 – 12 people. Cost is $35 per person. Available year round.
Rutherford Garden Tour
St. Supéry’s Visitor Center has a wide variety of plant species identified by plaques with the botanical name, common name and species of each specimen. Garden and landscaping enthusiasts can take a walking self-guided tour of the grounds surrounding the Visitor Center and historic Atkinson House, using a map to visit 18 spots to view over 30 special plants and trees. Harvest Adventure
Wine lovers and weekend adventurers alike can be a part of the excitement of the Napa Valley harvest at St. Supéry Winery. Usually only available to a privileged few, this rare opportunity invites visitors into the vineyard with St. Supéry's winemaker, Michael Beaulac to experience the grape harvest. This package, offered on September 14, Oct. 5 and 12, 2007, is priced at $295 per person and includes a continental breakfast, instruction on grape picking, a behind-the-scenes tour of the winemaking facility, a Cabernet Sauvignon blending seminar and a gourmet lunch prepared by our winery chef. Reservations are required. This adventure is also available upon special request during the months of August through October for groups of 10 or more people.
