Spring has sprung and it’s time for a fling. Yes, yes, it all sounds tawdry and rather gubernatorial (sorry NY), but it was a long, cold winter and it’s high time to dust off your charm, natural good looks, and your predilection for oysters, lobster, and the perfect glass of Sauvignon Blanc. In short, it’s time for St. Supéry’s 11th annual Spring Fling!

Set on our gorgeous lawn in front of the turn-of-the-century Queen Anne Victorian Atkinson House, right under the 120 year-old oak tree, we will lay out a feast of freshly shucked oysters and Napa’s world-famous lobster boil. The lobster boil is nothing short of a gluttonous feast of lobster, clams, shrimp, artichokes, and other vegetables, all cooked together and served Viking style. These “lobster feeds” are quite popular here and we thought we would share our Napa Valley version of this popular meal with you. Our Napa Valley and Dollarhide Sauvignon Blancs will be freely poured, offering perfect matches to the cuisine.

Proceeding lunch will be a Pétanque tournament, complete with prizes, fun, and some potential humiliation. For the uninitiated, Pétanque, or “boules” is a French version of Bocce ball, and under the sycamore trees in the cool afternoon at our Parc, it is the perfect way to usher in Spring.

I sincerely hope you will join us, May 24, from 11:30 to 2:30 for this classic St. Supery wine club exclusive event. Tickets are $75.00/person. Feel free to bring some friends!
