From the out start the 2003 Elú is an amazing wine, there is great depth of both aroma and flavor. The wine begins with hints of coco, blackberries and toasted oak. Upon further investigation, one picks up kirsch and black cherries. Elegant, supple and gracefully balanced, and finishing with a lively burst of ripe fruit and supple tannins this one is one not to be missed. Drink now through 2013.

(Three stars out of four)
"This wine delights tasters with a perfume-laden nose of strawberry, violet and geranium, then charms the palate with elegant, lingering flavors of strawberry and toast. It's a food-friendly blend that could actually be called Cabernet Sauvignon: It's 79 percent Cab, above the 75 percent required for a varietal name. Whatever it's called, it will easily pass the empty-bottle test."
