Hope in the Water PBS Docuseries Screening – Clearwater
About the Event
Join us for this special screening and reception to celebrate the launch of Hope in the Water, a three-part PBS docuseries that travels the globe spotlighting trailblazing fishers, water farmers, and environmental activists who are discovering new and ancient practices that can not only feed us but also restore our threatened oceans and fresh waterways.
Presented by WEDU PBS, Fed by Blue, and Clearwater Marine Aquarium, the evening kicks off with a reception, followed by a short screening, panel discussion, and food tasting featuring responsibly-sourced seafood. Wines provided by St. Supery Vineyards.
Panelists include Dr. Kelly McAdams, VP of Conservation Education from Clearwater Marine Aquarium, Daphné Halley, Program Coordinator from Fed by Blue, and Chef Steve Phelps from Indigenous Restaurant. The panel will be moderated by Dalia Colon, WEDU PBS multimedia journalist, host, and producer.
Tickets Include:
- St Supéry wine tasting at 5 p.m.
- Program and panel discussion at 6 p.m.
- Food tasting provided by Proof of the Pudding, The Tides Market, and Indigenous Restaurant following the panel discussion.
- Access to the Aquarium’s 4th level, featuring the ArtSea Conservation Exhibit and a collection of Aqua Lanterns. (Please purchase tickets separately to enjoy the full Aqua Lanterns experience throughout the aquarium until 9:30 p.m.)
