Celebrating Everyday Heroes.

A core value at St. Supéry is sharing joy - in our homes, in our daily lives, and at those special occasions with those we hold dear. This Fall, we are sharing the stories of those bringing joy to their own communities. So many are doing good things and making their world a better place without seeking recognition.

Let's celebrate these everyday heroes.

For nearly two years, until pandemic restrictions forced it to close temporarily, volunteers Maria, Amber and Heather kept the Toy Library at Community Resources for Children (CRC) organized and sparkling clean. The trio volunteers through Napa Valley Support Services (NVSS), which supports people with developmental disabilities in the Napa community.

This wonderful group of volunteers came in two to three mornings per week, and was always happy and excited to be there. In addition to helping out, they joined the CRC staff in celebrating holidays, sharing weekend plans and even dancing in the Toy Library.

“We are so thankful for the enthusiasm and joy that they bring to our everyday lives while keeping our Toy Library a clean and welcoming place for families and children,” says nominator Eva Simonsson. “They truly are our heroes.”

Eva nominated an Everyday Hero, Volunteers with Community Resources for Children’s Toy Library, for #EverydayHero #InJoy @Stsupery to celebrate their volunteer contributions to and #givingback.
