Ditas Peterson is our CFO and has been with St. Supéry since December 2018. As Chief Financial Officer, Ditas believes in the talented team members and integral management support at the core of St. Supéry’s robust work environment. Before working for St. Supéry, Ditas garnered expertise as VP of Global Finance at Jackson Family Wines, Inc., and held positions at international manufacturing companies and CPA firms. With a passion for learning, Ditas enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling in her free time.

Ditas’ bucket list includes traveling to Scandinavia because she would love to learn more about the history of the region, especially the Vikings!

Annie Waterson

Annie Waterson is our V.P. of HR and Operations. Her mission is to create an inclusive, driven company culture and generating meaningful experiences for our employees and customers alike. Annie believes that if there is a desire to learn and grow at St. Supéry, there is always an opportunity to do so here with talented teams who wear many hats. Before working at St. Supéry, Annie worked in the Human Resources Department at Trinchero Family Estates for five years. Annie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Franklin College.

Passionate about the wine region and industry, Annie enjoys running in the green Carneros area and spending time with her family in Napa.

Brooke Shenk - Winemaker

Brooke Shenk

As a St. Supéry winemaker, Brooke Shenk commits to the production of quality, diverse wines. Brooke is passionate about the estate-grown, produced, and bottled aspects of our wine and the complexity of each decision, starting in the vineyard going all the way through bottling. She focuses on organizing and coordinating cellar activities that fit the standard of the high-quality wines which St. Supéry produces. After interning in Sonoma for one harvest, Brooke has since held roles in lab and production, including working as a winery lab manager in New Zealand for two years.

Brooke enjoys spending time in Lake Tahoe, where she grew up, and traveling to new places with her husband – she has visited 6 of the seven continents, including Antarctica!

Asael Gonzalez-Zavala

Assistant Winemaker Asael Gonzalez-Zavala is committed to the production of bountiful wines. Asael developed a passion for enology during a university exchange program in France. At St Supéry, he has had the opportunity to use his love to lead harvest and fermentation processes. A team member since 2016, Asael is an asset to St. Supéry’s dynamic and flexible production environment. A valuable representative of St. Supéry’s winemaking process, Asael enjoys sharing the wines he produces with his friends.

Asael wishes to continue to travel the world to learn about foreign viticulture practices and develop his brand of Mezcal one day.

Tod Umbach is our Northeastern Sales Region Manager. As a Regional Sales Manager, Tod appreciates introducing the magic of St. Supéry wines to restaurateurs, retailers, and customers alike. A seasoned sales professional, Tod has worked in the wine industry for 30 years and started his career at Heublin Wines.

Outside the office, Tod enjoys attending baseball games and live music shows and collecting vinyl records for his stereo system from the 1970s.

Jim Clark

Jim Clark is the St. Supéry Regional Sales Manager for the Central region. Jim believes in the unmatched legacy of the St. Supéry property and having the opportunity to work for one of the few 100% estate wineries left in Napa Valley, committed to uncompromising quality and character. For Jim, wine represents time in a bottle; it engages people and gives them a chance to connect through past and future. An industry expert, Jim has held positions at Jackson Family Wines, Breakthru, and Wine Merchants, and previous to that, Jim worked as a wine buyer in the restaurant industry for ten years. Jim is from Crystal, Minnesota and he started working at St. Supéry in March 2018. Before St. Supéry, Jim worked for Jackson Family Wines, Breakthru, and Wine Merchants. Previous to that, Jim was in the restaurant industry for 10 years.

Elizabeth Parenteau is our Regional Sales Manager for the Southeastern region. Elizabeth is passionate about sharing the compelling St. Supéry story, the beautiful wines, and the incredible people she has had the opportunity to meet through her work. Before joining the St. Supéry team, Elizabeth started her career in the wine industry in Chicago, working for established distributors, importers, and wineries, to expand the footprint of their brands.

Laurie Etcheberry is a St. Supéry Wine Educator and has worked at the winery since June 2005. A wine country native, Laurie believes that no two days at St. Supéry are the same and because she is extroverted, Laurie enjoys the opportunity to share exceptional wines with new people every day. Before working at St Supéry, Laurie worked as a Retail Manager.

Laurie’s friends who worked in retail at the winery introduced her to St. Supéry and recruited her to join the team. Passionate about wine and food pairings, Laurie would like to travel to Paris to explore the outstanding French culinary and wine experiences.

Jerry Cmenil is a Wine Educator from Prague, Czech Republic, and has worked at St. Supéry since August 2019. As a Wine Educator, Jerry relishes the opportunity to interact with customers and is passionate about the team-oriented culture of St. Supéry. In his spare time, Jerry likes to cook and enjoys recommending wine and food pairings to customers. Before working in wine, Jerry worked in industrial design and architecture before starting work at St Supéry.

Outside the tasting room, you can find Jerry hiking and biking in the Carneros area. His favorite outdoor spot in the area is Sugarloaf Ridge State Park in Sonoma!

Bonnie Cunningham is a Wine Educator at St. Supéry and has worked at the winery since October 2016. Working in the St. Supéry Tasting Room, Bonnie loves the ability to teach people about wine regardless of their level of expertise. She also loves how her job changes every day due to the wine and people she interacts with daily. Before St. Supéry, Bonnie worked as a VP of Sales in the healthcare industry. Bonnie got into the wine industry because she has always had a passion for wine, and once she retired, her focus was to be involved in wine and become an educator.

Patty Martinez is a member of the Hospitality Support Team at St. Supéry. As a member of the Hospitality team, Patty enjoys working in the fast-paced environment of the Tasting Room and learning new things on the job from her coworkers. Additionally, Patty is passionate about the variety of wines and working in a position that gives her exposure to the winemaking process. Before working at St Supéry, Patty worked at Sterling Vineyards.

Eager to learn the behind-the-scenes of the winemaking process, Patty’s goal is to graduate with a B.S. Degree in Viticulture Studies, and eventually own land to cultivate grapes.

A seasoned sales professional, Chelsea has garnered experience in the wine and retail industries throughout her career.

David Hiestand

David Hiestand is our dedicated Production and Bottling Lead and has been a valuable member of the St. Supéry team since August 2015. David believes in the rich storytelling aspect of the wines that St. Supéry produces, specifically the unique journey of estate-grown grapes from the vineyard to the bottling process. He views his role in the production process as incredibly rewarding as he works alongside people with a wealth of experience and produces quality wines. David majored in History at Dennison University, where he studied the history of wine and fell in love with it.

With a deep appreciation of the winemaking process, David has enjoyed visiting his relatives who are winemakers in Germany, introducing him to the craft. He has hopes to broaden his palate with a visit to the winemaking regions in New Zealand.

Juan Vega

Juan Vega is the Cellar Crew Lead in the Barrel Room at St. Supéry and has been a production team member since July 1997. Juan appreciates the familial aspect of the production team environment and values the opportunity to meet new people and learn new wine properties throughout the production process. He was introduced to the wine industry after moving to Napa in 1996, where his family worked in vineyards.

A family-oriented person both on and off the production team, Juan enjoys spending quality time with his kids and family. He hopes to obtain a degree in Winemaking.

Everardo Montanez

An esteemed member of the Cellar crew team, Everardo Montanez, has worked at St. Supéry since March 2002. Everardo is a passionate learner of the winemaking process, specifically the fermentation and barreling components. He notes that his favorite part of his job is participating in harvest because of the flexibility to learn different cellar operations and maintenance elements.

Everardo translates his passion for learning about viticulture and wines to teach his family members and granddaughters about winemaking practices.

Monica Johnson

A talented Enologist, Monica Johnson has transformed the quality of St. Supéry wines since her start date in March 2011. Monica believes in the rich variety and the camaraderie of the production team to produce quality wines that tell a story. In her day to day, Monica supports lab operations and troubleshoots issues that may arise in the winemaking process. She received her degree in Biology from the University of California Davis.

For years, a family tradition of Monica’s is to make handmade ravioli and homemade sauce for Thanksgiving. Every once in a while, Monica will bust out her pasta machine and make something from scratch.

Dan Conners

Dan Conners is a Vineyard Manager at St. Supéry and plays a vital role in maintaining our quality grapes and rich, green vineyards. Dan is a passionate leader on the vineyards team and believes that each growing season presents opportunities to learn and improve viticulture practices. Before joining the St. Supéry team, Dan worked as a Vineyard Manager for a property management company. Dan’s introduction to the wine industry was through an internship program, in which he gained a love for the craft of viticulture and winemaking.

Vianey C. Enriquez is an experienced Multi-Skill Worker, passionate about agriculture and tending to grapes. Vianey enjoys the cool winter months when he sprays for pests and the harvest process in the vineyards. Before working at St. Supéry, Vianey worked in other vineyards and drove tractors for different wineries. Growing up in Mexico, Vianey spent much of his upbringing around agriculture and decided to pursue it as a career.

On his days off, Vianey enjoys tending to his home garden and planting different seeds throughout the seasons.

A veteran of the St. Supéry vineyards, Celestino Corro-Rojas is a talented Multi-Skilled Worker. Throughout his breadth of experience working in the vineyards, Celestino has enjoyed the planting, suckering, and canopying aspects of vineyard maintenance. Celestino is passionate about teaching new workers about Dollarhide Ranch and their jobs. Before working at St. Supéry, Celestino worked in other vineyards, worked under vineyard manager Tom Clark, and followed him to St. Supéry.

Celestino enjoys cooking with his fruits and vegetables from the garden and singing karaoke when he isn’t tending to the vineyards!

Benjamin Vega-Trejo is a Multi-Skilled Worker who is passionate about irrigation and tending to the grapes. Benjamin is skilled in managing conservation efforts through the implementation of irrigation systems. After his parents brought him to Napa from Mexico, Benjamin has worked in the vineyards since. Before working at St. Supéry, Benjamin herded cattle in Mexico.

Benjamin enjoys gardening, explicitly growing tomatoes and peppers. He would also like to return to Mexico once he retires.

Luis Fernandez is a Skilled General Worker who has played a vital role in cultivating the beautiful grapes of St. Supéry wines. Luis is passionate about every aspect of his job, especially every interaction he gets with the grapes. Luis was introduced to viticulture by his uncles, who had been working in the industry. Before joining the St. Supéry vineyards team, Luis worked in several other vineyards throughout California.

Juan Vega Castro is an experienced Skilled General Worker who has worked at St. Supéry since he arrived in the U.S. from Mexico. For Juan, the most rewarding aspect of his involvement in the winemaking process is pruning the grapevines in preparation for production. Since moving to the U.S., the vineyards have become a second home to Juan. Before arriving in the U.S., Juan worked in a flour factory.

A Skilled-General Worker, Valentin is passionate about continuing to learn about all aspects of vineyard maintenance and mastering the craft. As an expert member of the vineyards team, Valentin has gained experience in most areas of vineyard maintenance. However, his favorite part of the job is pruning the grapes. Before moving to the United States, Valentin studied in Mexico and left the country at a young age; his position at St. Supéry was his first in the U.S.!

A Multi-Skilled Worker, Miguel is dedicated to growing beautiful, delicious grapes for St. Supéry wines. A hard worker and dedicated team member, Miguel assists in handling the development and maintenance of irrigation systems for the vines. Before St. Supéry, Miguel held positions in the agriculture and construction industries and gained relevant experience in other vineyards.

Miguel has hopes to return to Mexico upon retirement. When he is not tending to the grapes, you could find Miguel relaxing and cleaning at home.

An experienced Multi-Skilled Worker, Luis Armando is passionate about tending to the grapes on a daily basis. While Luis Armando enjoys all aspects of vineyard maintenance, his favorite part of the job is working with irrigation systems. Growing up around the agriculture industry, Luis Armando felt an instant connection to working in the vineyards. Prior to working at St. Supéry, Luis Armnado worked in vineyards for other companies in the Napa Valley region.

Ruben Orozco Medina

Ruben Orozco-Medina is a Multi-Skilled Worker and a St. Supéry veteran dedicated to cultivating beautiful grapes for over 20 years. Given his knowledge of the rich land diversity of the Dollarhide Ranch, Ruben enjoys his involvement in all aspects of the vineyard maintenance process. Still, he curries favor to the operation of suckering the grapes. Before working in the St. Supéry vines, Ruben harvested strawberries in Salinas. His brother, who also works at St. Supéry, introduced him to the winery!

Ruben is one of four brothers who work on the St. Supéry vineyards team: Adrian, Gilberto, and Valentin!

Gerardo Rodriquez

Gerardo Rodriguez is a talented, Multi-Skilled Worker who is passionate about his involvement in the winemaking process. Gerardo enjoys most aspects of his interactions with the grapes, specifically handling tractors and machinery in the vines. Gerardo was introduced to his job in the vineyards by way of his father, with whom he worked at Chateau Montelena Winery in Calistoga for years.

Joyful and passionate about his career, Gerardo has a positive and optimistic outlook on life and job at the winery. When he is not in the vineyards, Gerardo enjoys exploring local Napa restaurants.

A Skilled-General Worker, Hector Rodriguez Hurtado, is passionate about his daily interactions with Dollarhide Ranch’s luscious landscape and the wide variety of grapes. In his work activities, Hector enjoys cultivating and pruning the grapes during the spring months. Hector’s father introduced him to the wine industry and taught him how to nurture grapes. Before working at St. Supéry, Hector worked in a restaurant in Calistoga.

Guadalupe Suarez is a talented, Multi-Skilled Worker who dedicates herself to the cultivation of quality grapes. Guadalupe is passionate about the camaraderie of working with the vineyards team and the variety of his job. Before working at St. Supéry, Guadalupe worked in another winery’s vineyard. He was referred to St. Supéry by his brother, who worked at the winery at the time.

Francisco Garcia Leon

Francisco Garcia Leon is a Multi-Skilled Worked and has worked at St. Supéry since arriving in the United States. On the job, Francisco has gained experience managing most areas of grape cultivation and viticulture. Over time, Francisco has gained valuable experience and honed new skills in the field. Francisco discovered the wine industry through a friend who referred him to St. Supéry, and he has worked here ever since!
