When you set foot on the island of Porquerolles in the South of France, you forget to put your shoes back on. Perhaps it is because you never quite leave the sea behind as it is always there, mingled with each gust of air and each waft of scrubland.  This gem of an island is dominated by The Parc National de Port Cros which preserves and protects the natural landscape for future generations. Situated in the heart of this national park, Domaine de l’Ile will continue to ensure that its activity is fully aligned with this quest to preserve biodiversity by managing its vineyards in an agro-ecological manner.

The Island Expression of the Fine Wines from Provence

The Domaine sits in a remote part of the island where the vines and olive trees are protected from the salty bite of the sea and the scorching winds. Bathed in light, the vineyards draw their signature from the clay-schist soils. This Provençal rosé is born here, between the land and the sea. Hand-harvested and made from traditional Mediterranean grape varieties, this elegant rosé is the result of a commitment to creating a fresh and intense wine with a unique Southern France character.

PORQUEROLLES, A WORLD APART

An island of gold and light, a land full of character lying just off the coast of Provence. Lying on thousand-year old shale and surrounded by eucalyptus and pine trees that offer protection from the sun, the vineyards of the Domaine de l’Ile give full expression to the uniqueness of its location.

A FAMILY AND AN ISLAND

2019, after many fulfilling years as a wine producer and a sailor, Sébastien Le Ber is
entrusting this heritage to CHANEL, thereby opening a new chapter in the story of Domaine de l’Ile.

A PRESERVED NATURAL SPACE

Thanks to Sébastien Le Ber’s hard work, the vineyards have been certified as organic since 2015. In this extraordinary natural setting, the wine estate continues to take an environmentally-friendly and eco-responsible approach.

2022 Domaine de l'Île Rosé

This is an airy, vibrant rosé that evokes the light and serenity of the island.

The 2022 Domaine De I’Ile Rosé displays a luminous pale pink color. Bright strawberry, raspberry and grenadine aromas are invigorated by hints of pink grapefruit notes from the Cinsault. On the palate, red berry flavors are joined by rich red cherry from the Mourvèdre and notes of blackcurrant and spice from the Syrah, leading to a long, refreshing finish with touches of saline.

Blend: 25% Grenache , 26% Cinsault, 22% Syrah,

20% Mourvèdre, 5% Tibouren
