Ingredients
1 lb Fresh Mussels
3 oz Ground Italian Sausage, “pre-cooked”
1 Tbl Garlic, chopped
1 Tbl Shallots, chopped
1 C Red Wine
1 Tbl Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tsp Thyme, fresh chopped
1 Tbl Parsley, fresh chopped
Salt & Black Pepper to taste
Baguette, toasted
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a saucepot, cover with a lid and bring up to a boil. Cook just until the mussels open and then serve in a bowl with bread.
