      To encourage the habitation of the California native Western bluebird, we built over 100 bluebird boxes surrounding and throughout the vineyards. Western bluebirds eat mosquitos and herbivorous insects including the blue-green sharpshooter, a vector of Pierce’s disease, which is harmful to grapevines. We also have 10 owl boxes to attract the aggressive barn owl to combat gophers who at one time, destroyed a number of vines.

      St. Supéry Winemaker Dinner

      Don’t miss this intimate opportunity to spend time with St. Supéry estate’s winemaker, Michael Scholz. On November 3, 2019 Michael will join club members for an exquisite four course meal, created by St. Supéry’s estate Chef Tod Kawachi, Michael will guide guests as they taste through the current release and library wines while sharing insight about his workings as winemaker and St. Supéry’s two estate vineyards.
