Warm Rosé and Brandy Cocktail

COCKTAIL

 

INGREDIENTS

1 ounce Andrew Jackson Dollarhide: Spirit of St. Supéry Brandy
1.5 ounces St. Supéry Napa Valley Estate Rosé
½ ounce Cinnamon Syrup (recipe follows)
¼ ounce Lemon Juice
3 ounces Water
1 Apple Slice and 1 Cinnamon Stick for Garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until hot.
Pour into a thick-walled mug and garnish with an apple slice and a cinnamon stick.



CINNAMON SYRUP

 

INGREDIENTS

2 to 3 Cinnamon Sticks, broken into pieces
5 ounces Sugar
5 ounces Water

INSTRUCTIONS

Add all the ingredients to a small saucepan.
Bring to a boil over high heat, reduce heat to low and simmer for a few minutes.
Remove from heat, cover, and let stand for at least 6 hours.
Strain, and store in the refrigerator.
