In 2014 my wife and I were invited to join Christy Turlington Burns and her EMC team to observe their work in Tanzania. We were so moved by what we saw that a commitment was made to support the organization in every way we possibly could.

Since then I’ve been privileged to travel the world with EMC witnessing their vital work in promoting safe pregnancy for all women.
These photos were selected from my series “The Pacific’s Liminal Edge”. I live in perpetual awe of the beauty and power of Northern California’s coast.
