A Long Winter’s Nap

Single serve or scaled to make a punch
Ingredients (single serving)
- 2-oz Spirit of St. Supéry Brandy
- 1-oz persimmon puree
- ½-oz tangerine/mandarin juice
- ½-oz ginger syrup
- ~ 1-oz hard cider (float)
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 star anise
Ingredients (Scaled to make a punch)
- 2-parts Spirit of St. Supéry Brandy
- 1-part persimmon puree
- ½-part tangerine/mandarin juice
- ½-part ginger syrup
- 1-part hard cider
- Thyme to taste
- star anise to garnish
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except the hard cider and the star anise in a shaker.
- Add ice and shake well
- Double-strain into cocktail glass OR tall glass filled with ice OR in old fashioned glass with large cube (can be served either up or OTR).
- Top with cider. Garnish with/float star anise.

- Well chill all of your ingredients in advance.
- Combine all ingredients except the hard cider and the star anise in a punch bowl.
- Stir well
- Add cider just before guest arrival.
