St. Supéry Achieves IWCA Silver Membership

International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) is delighted to announce that two of its Applicant members, Champagne Lanson (France) and St. Supéry Estate Vineyards & Winery (United States), have become Silver Members this month having completed their first baseline, third-party verified GHG inventory (across Scopes 1, 2, and 3) in the past 12 months and set a roadmap to work toward Net Zero by 2050.

Expressing their pride in achieving IWCA Silver Membership, St Supéry’s CEO, Emma Swain, shared, “Our focus at St. Supéry is on continuous improvement and how to not only sustain our current efforts but reach further to significantly improve each year. We are elated to have achieved IWCA Silver status following our most recent GHG inventory. Through this membership, we are committed to a healthy and sustainable future for all. IWCA is leading the way in addressing climate change and we encourage our fellow vintners to join us in our commitment to future generations.”

IWCA continues to forge ahead with its mission: encouraging the wine business to reduce carbon emissions. Spreading the word about climate change and what wineries can do to mitigate it within the sector is a priority for IWCA members. The organization is working hard to build strong relationships with wineries, leading retailers, influencers and press around the world to put climate action at the forefront of the wine industry’s agenda.
